Active Week 

Active School Week 2026

Our highly anticipated Active School Week is set to take place in June. This is a highlight of our school calendar and a vital part of our Active School Flag initiative, where we replace traditional routines with five days of high-energy fun!

Here is what our pupils can look like forward to:

• Active Dress Code: To stay ready for action, all pupils and staff are encouraged to wear their tracksuits every day this week.

• Active Homework: Traditional written homework will be swapped for Active Homework assignments, encouraging families to get moving together each evening.

• Dance & Movement: We will be incorporating dance sessions throughout the week to keep our spirits high and our heart rates up.

• Whole School Active Fun Day: This flagship event will be supported by our fantastic community partners, including Roscommon Sportspartnership, Roscommon GAA who will be providing expert-led activities for all ages.

• Playground Buddies: Our senior leaders will be extra busy in the Junior yard, organising daily games to ensure our younger pupils have an energetic and inclusive break time.
