Upcoming Events

       Green Schools Action Day

Our Green Schools Day of Action takes place this Thurdsay 23rd of March. The children have been heavily involved in creating a range of improvements around the school, to support biodiversity. From building wooden bird boxes, planting and growing native flowers to attract pollinators,  creating a sensory herb garden and even building a bug hotel and log pile lodge. It has been a very enjoyable journey and we are looking forward to seeing the results over the coming weeks and months. On Thursday, there will be a further planting initiative ( runner bean race - who's runner bean will grow the most!!), along with our biodiversity poster competition winner and other fun activities happening within the school. We hope to successfully achieve our fifth Green Schools flag after all our hard work.  Thanks to all the pupils, teachers and especially our hard working Green Schools Committee, seen below.
