Enrolment 2026

Enrolment for September 2026 is now underway. Forms are available from info@ballymurrayns.com or physically from any of our class teachers. Forms can be emailed or posted back to the school. Our Open Day will take place on Thursday, February 5th between 3.30 and 5.30 p.m. Keep an eye on local newspapers and our social media channels over the next few weeks. Thanks 

School Concert 2025

What a fantastic night in Lecarrow last night! The children were absolutely amazing and we are so proud of them all. Thank you to everyone who made the night such a huge success. Keep an eye out on our social media channels for more photos from the night

Retirement

Our school bus driver Liam retired at Christmas. We were very fortunate to have Liam look after our children over the years. We had a lovely presentation in the school on the day of the holidays. We wish Liam many happy years of retirement 

Sensory Garden

The school would like to extend our sincere thanks to Breege and all involved in creating a new sensory area in the school. As you'll see from the photos, the transformation is amazing. The area is bigger than it looks in the photos and is a beautiful calm environment for children with sensory needs. It can also be used as an outdoor classroom at stages during the year.

School Concert

Our Christmas Concert will take place on Wednesday, December 10th at 6.30 p.m. in St.John's Community Centre. Doors open at 6 p.m.

School Closure

Reminder that the school will be closed on Monday, December 8th to faciliate Child Protection Training for all staff

Connacht Cross Country Championships

Best wishes to Sophia Gately, Lauren Forde and Rachel Gately who will run in the Connacht Cross Country Championships in Loughrea on Saturday. The girls qualified at the recent Roscommon Championships. Best wishes girls and well done on getting this far

G.A.A. Blitz

4th, 5th and 6th class will join the other local schools for a fun blitz on Tuesday morning in St.Dominic's
